Between November 23, 2022, and December 1, 2022, the 2022 FIFA World Cup Group E matches will be held. For a chance to reach the Round of 16 (Knockout Stage) of the tournament, Spain, Costa Rica, Germany, and Japan will compete in this group. Each team will play one match against the other three teams in the group, in a round-robin format.

If one team wins a match in the group stage of the tournament, it will receive three points, whereas if the match ends in a draw, both teams will receive one point, whereas if the team loses a match, no points will be awarded.
